Black Skimmers at the Beach

We have had a few sightings of small groups of Black Skimmers recently by our staff and volunteers. These uncommon to rare birds are certainly a unique sight to see at the shore.

Once you see them over water and skimming as intended their bill makes a lot more sense. Have you had the pleasure of spotting them before?
