Sandy/Morse Points access

Good afternoon, all!

We were only made aware this afternoon of the West Haven paving starting today. Here is more information plus access instructions provided by the City.

"They are currently paving, they should be done by the end of next week.  There are still a few items to attend to before the road is open.  No road opening date has been set at this point.

Monitors can access the beach at a point where the crews aren't paving.  The project begins at Morse Ave, which is the old Chick's property, so there's pedestrian access to the beach from there."

Please do with that what you will - if you do not feel able and/or comfortable with these terms of access, it's okay! You can always let us know you plan to skip monitoring. 

I was also told that all the plates I submitted were entered into the electronic parking system to grant you access for monitoring once paving is completed and the parking lot is opened.
